What should a student of Ayurveda do after formal education?!

Never settle.

Every end heralds a new beginning , And your new beginning should include these activities.

ततस्तत्प्रसादात् कृत्स्नं शास्त्रमधिगम्य शास्त्रस्य दृढतायामभिधानस्य सौष्ठवेऽर्थस्य विज्ञाने वचनशक्तौ च भूयो भूयः प्रयतेत सम्यक् ||
( Ref : charaka samhita, vimana sthana , 8th chapter)

After having obtained the knowledge of entries scriptures , through the blessings of Acharya (guru) , one should strive again and again for achieving the depth in scriptures,  clarity of concepts and comprehension of various understandings,and the ability to express or orate in front of others.
